This Tragic Affair would like to thank everyone who came to support us today at Music Garage! Sorry for the screw-ups especially during demo lover cause..(i actually forgot the lyrics) hahahahah! I'm really really sorry but i hope guys had a great time during our set, you guys actually knocked down the two stage monitor speakers like 3 times man. That's hardcore hahaha but we love hardcore heh. I hope no one was hurt!

Once again thanks for coming and supporting and cheering and singing along to the songs! Keep checking our blogspot every now and then for gigs, rock onnnn we love you to the max hahahaha

Those guys who bought our tix for the 23rd gig and are wondering how to go there, the map and details below will show how. =)

Starts at 3pm and you can go home anytime u want (Ends at 9pm though)
We will perform around the 4pm or 5pm slot
Each band has a 45mins slot (8-10 songs)
There are 7 bands in total.

Location:
63B Queens Street Level 3
Opposite Albert Food Court and Market

More details:
1. Exit Bugis MRT by using the left exit
2. After exiting, cross over to reach KFC
3. After reaching KFC, turn right from the direction of the traffic light you just crossed from.
4. Walk straight. After reaching MACDONALDS, turn left.
5. Walk straight. After passing the fruits shop, Turn left. (Remember to pass by the fruits shop first before turning left)
6.Walk into the small alley and u will see a small entrance that has a small Music Garage poster outside. (The place is located at Level 3. 2nd floor is a Lan Shop)

*To make things easier, walk in between the alleyway of the fruits shop and a shop called ABC that sells things like the 1 dollar shop. And u will reach the place. (Remember to pass by the fruits shop first!!) =)

ALL TIX SOLD. THX FOR THE SUPPORT =) Those who still wanna go can still buy the tix at the place on the day itself.

Guys i heard our demo, Silence screams over and over again and i feel that we have already done a great job on the guitars. Now lets get the drums, bass and vocals together and do a recording. I've already found a cheap recording service for around $15. And that guy does layered recording. It means that our playing will be recorded one by one and it will sound damn clear. I heard his work before. So ppl, lets contribute together and make our band a succes. I want to get this song done by 10 Feb as we currently have a lot of time in our hands.

performance was over, and yea, its was great fun performing isn't it.
haha, we do make a fool of ourselves on the stage right.

okay on a serious note here.
after performance and stuffs, we do heard and received a lot of criticsms.
its normal i guess, just treat it as something meaningful for the band to improve.

there's alot more room for improvement for us.
and, we maybe the least supported band here, but nevermind, its only the first performance.

and a BIG THANKS to people whom have supported us and cheered for us.
greatly appreciated, do continue supporting us.

we promise we will get better and better as time pass by.
believe in us!

and thanks to the critics, we shall work on those comments and hopefully improve in every way =)

to the band members, we each ourselves should know the mistakes we had. work on it guys,
don't give up just yet. there's still alot more time in the future to improve, there's still time
for us to prove others that we are a great band.

to Kuang Biao and Fatal Attraction, congrats alot to all of you.

Today was the last rehearsal for NDP in NVSS.

For the first performance during this rehearsal for TTA,
Syafiq and me (yasser) wasn't present at that point of time.

Busy with the parade.
So Danial, Haiqel, Hadi carried on playing even without us.
And thanks to Chong Ee of Kuang Biao for the drums, although you didn't know it.

Appreciated =)

Syafiq and me joined shortly after while.
2nd performance, was very crappy for lead guitars.
Halfway, there's just no sound at all from the guitar.

Ended up playing anyhow.

3rd performance, is where the sound everything is checked and fixed.
so theres a tryout.

Played without syafiq, not much of an audience that time.
Not much of "hardcore" but nvm, everyone was tired that time.

So NDP is coming.
Hopefully, everyone, TTA, will do their full best.
Have been receiving criticsms lately, but nevermind, its just something to learn on.

Nevermind TTA, as long as we love performing, its already something to be proud of ourselves.

This is the "official" website for our band, This Tragic Affair.
A little information about us, formed during early 2006.

First few members, haiqel, danial, syafiq and me (yasser).

After some time, affan from bowen sec decided to join us.
And there is where we started playing as a one, complete band.

We've done alot of covers from My Chemical Romance and Silverstein.
And do catch us in National Day in north vista secondary school.

Hopefully, by end of this year we'll be performing at gigs around singapore and by then
we'll be releasing our own demos.

A little update here.
We have been having rehearsals in school in preparation for NDP.
Unfortunately, affan couldn't join because he is in another school.

But alot of credits to nurhadi, who is our replacement.
We are able to perform because of him.
Much appreciated.

Yes, we do received alot of criticsms.
Ranging from our charisma and vocals.
Never mind about that, we'll be more focus next time, hopefully.

Have been facing sound problems during rehearsals.
Coping with alot of these problems mainly due to the sound.
We hope during the actual day, things will be better.

This training and rehearsing has been a great fun to us.
Its been great performing with other bands.
This will certainly be a great learning experience to TTA.

*A little bit of suggestion.
- Try not to be monotonous for the vocals, concentrate on the harmony.
- Do not sing louder than the vocals, for back up.
- During solo part, try to concentrate more on the notes rather than the effects and DONT panic.
- Rhythmist, "giler sikit la" =)
- Drums, be violent =)
